iCog Research Grants

In 2019/20, iCog was able to award a limited number of small research grants for participant costs in empirical studies by junior researchers (postgraduate or postdoctoral) working in interdisciplinary cognitive science.

Awards were made to the following researchers and projects:

• Sophie Cameron, University of Queensland:
  ‘The omission bias in moral self licensing’

• Jessie Nixon, University of Tübingen:
  ‘The neuroscience of learning speech from prediction error’

• Zixi Jin, Cardiff University:
  ‘Is the sunny side still up with face expressions?’
